Based on a book cover design for Red Letter Shakespeare series by Talwin Morris.
This is an original design in the English Art Nouveau style. Made of hand-painted and fired German glass.
I created this design while under the influence of Bernard Maybeck. Not his art glass designs because there aren't any, but the lines of his architecture. A sloping roof, strong verticals and wisteria falling away.
I can't remember how the Ginkgo leaves ended up in there or how it got it's Art Nouveauy flourishes, but there they are.
Another window with that roof line and strong verticals. This time with vaguely Mackintosh elements.
Half homage to Archibald Knox, half attempt to get someone to commission something Knox inspired. I'm ready and waiting by the mailbox.
An early design for a built-in china cabinet with roof and strong vertical elements, this time with tulips and sculpted lead lines.
Glasgow Tulip cabinet doors.
Presentation drawing for a series of original Art Nouveau windows.
