For all projects we request a $300 design deposit to reserve a place on our schedule. After determining the type of work needed, a web page is then created for you to review your design options (click here to see a sample page). Once a design is chosen, a 50% materials deposit will initiate an order, with the balance due before delivery. 

How much will this cost?

Pricing for our custom work is based on three factors:
-the amount of time spent developing the project
-the complexity of the design
-the cost of materials.

Size has little to do with price, except in relation to materials cost. A large, simple design may cost less than a smaller, complex design. For this reason we cannot offer accurate estimates based on size or design idea alone. 

How long will this take?

That depends. If you choose a preexisting design like those found on our What We Do page, orders generally take12-14 weeks to complete. Commissioned designs average between 4-6 months and longer for large projects.

Will I have to take the existing glass out of my window and replace it with a leaded glass panel?

It depends on the project. We recommend replacing the original pane of glass with a leaded panel so one can appreciate the quality of the materials and craftsmanship from both sides. Often, people prefer to leave existing glass in place as it provides a weatherproof and airtight barrier. Factors such as direct weather, street noise and how long you plan to stay are also considered.  

How do I pay?

We accept cash, checks, and money orders.

What about shipping?

For local projects we can deliver at an additional charge.

For our out-of-town clients we ship small and medium size projects via UPS. Large projects are crated and shipped by a national freight company that specializes in handling delicate items. All shipping arrangements are between the client and the shipping company whom bills the client directly.
